VALERIE LACY PALLIATIVE CARE SCHOLARSHIP
Applications are invited from full-time/part-time current salaried Nursing/Allied Health staff of Ballarat Health Services for the awarding of the Valerie Lacy Palliative Care Scholarship.
The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance for members of staff who wish to further develop their current level of expertise, pursue some research, or a staff exchange in order to develop ideas and strategies, particularly in the field of Palliative Care, which will enhance the quality of care to patients either directly or through support services.
The scholarship will be awarded once a year and the amount available is up to $2000.
This may be paid in full or part thereof to:
1. One applicant or
2. More than one person/group.
If the selection committee feels that no application meets the selection criteria it may not be awarded.
